THE SERVICE

We offer a button covering service in a range of sizes and styles including:

  • dome
  • highball
  • marigold
  • sew-though

HIGH-RISK FABRIC – we do not cover using PVC/plastic finishes. We may not cover using leather, pleather, piped lace, brocade, unstabilised jersey, knit or other stretch fabrics.

PREPARATION

To create your handmade covered buttons we will need from you:

  • fabric (note the face side)
  • size
  • quantity
  • backing preference

You may find it easier to print out, fill in and send our covered buttons order form along with your order. (here’s an additional page for larger orders)

COST & SIZES

Our button charges start from £0.25 per button. Buttons come as standard with a black or white shank plastic back.

The below costings are a guide price and are subject to change if your order has a specific request. Additional charges include but are not exclusive to:

  • Express Service = from £1.00 per button (if we have availability)
  • Layers = lightweight/ light-medium / tulle / sheer fabrics = additional £0.05per layer
  • Pattern cutting / Specific placement  = additional £0.15per button
  • Special backs = metal / canvas / pin – can only be used on DOME STYLE (not for all sizes – see the chart for stock and pricing)
  • Covered backs (not for all fabrics, only using thin or lining fabric)  = additional £0.15per button

Covered button orders can be placed at the workrooms or via post/courier. You have the option to collect in person or we can post back.

NOTES

We cannot take responsibility for packages inappropriately packed, tracking packages you send through to us nor untracked standard postage.

We do not accept self-address enveloped for return postage.
